Autódromo Cartagén

The Autódromo Cartagén, is a 2,698 m (1.6764 miles) oval motor sport venue located (map) in the city of Cartagén, DS, a suburb that lies just to the east of Ciudad Quiroga, DS, in the Ardisphere, not far from the eastern frontier. It is an Ardescar-format track. "Ardescar" is the name in the Ardisphere for stock car racing (Automóviles de Serie) sponsored by the Gwynian Stock Racing Association (GwyStRAs) and largely in compliance with the OGFIA Formula Plus standard. Each fall in late March, the Autódromo Cartagén currently hosts one of the most popular annual Ardescar races, called the PetroSphere 500 (after its sponsor, the PetroSphere company).
