'''Colonia Galesa''' (''[[Castellanese]]'', by convention not translated, offically in ''[[Cambric]]'' '''Nythfa Cymraeg''', the ''[[Ingerish]]'' meaning is "Cambric Colony") is the least populous federal subject of the [[Ardispheric Federation]], and the second smallest in land area as well (after the entirely urban and compact [[Distrito Federal, (DF)|Distrito Federal]]). Its capital and largest city is [[Ynys Dieithriaid, CG]]. In a manner similar to the evolution of the much larger [[Colonia Coreana (CC)|Colonia Coreana]], the Colonia Galesa was carved out of the formerly larger [[Departamento Boreal (DB)|Departamento Boreal]] in the post-civil-war period of the 1870s, in an effort to satisfy the strong autonomist sentiments of the majority-Cambric-speaking population of the region.
